Lately I’ve been experimenting with video editing, and vlogging. I haven’t really used stock footage in any of my own video productions, but there might be a time when free stock footage is needed, so I gathered a list of sites that offer royalty-free stock videos.
Pexels
Pexels is a stock video footage search engine. Aggregates search results from various services.
Pixabay videos
Pixabay has a ton of free photos, but also a comprehensive free stock video archive.
Videvo
Videvo offers stock footage and motion graphics in Creative Commons 3.0 license.
Distill
Distill is much like Unsplash, but for video.
Coverr.co
Coverr is originally a web design resource, but the footage can be used in various ways.
Life of Vids
Life of Vids is a project by Leeroy a Canadian advertising agency. A nice growth hack for the agency, I might add.
Pond5
Pond5 is a commercial stock footage service, but they also have a public domain section, which contains loads of free videos.
