“Money grinder” is about dopamine-driven attention addiction, fueled by portraits of a perfect life in social media. It’s a critique on companies that give us dreams and monetize our attempts in gaining celebrity. We have all been behaviorally conditioned by the eternal content feed. The lyrics encourage you to to step away from the constant micro dosing of the money grinder bliss every now and then. And while the song is somewhat sarcastic, maybe even a tad satirical, it’s still very danceable and uplifting!
