Building a Luminous Price Board for the Gear Vending Machine

I built a nice Gear Vending Machine for Unzyme, to sell band merchandise at our experiments. Soon I realized that the merchandise system needed a cool way to present the prices. I listed a few requirements that had to be met. It needed to be…

  • Cool-looking and attention-stealing
  • An erasable surface that can be written on with a whiteboard marker
  • Illuminated
  • Battery powered
