This track is a B-side from the Forensics sessions. The song was left somewhat unfinished, but as I listened to it after a few years’ break, it actually sounded ready enough to be released. I made a lyric video for the song, which shows varied imagery from all over the world – including abandoned mines, and the cities and art that were built out of those minerals.
Everything you choose to do, has a cost. It’s good to occasionally stop and redecide whether the thing you’re pursuing, is still worth the cost.

LYRICS
It’s hard to recognize who’s in control
I look for clues behind my mirror
I show enigmas of accomplishments
Foreign agendas will make my mind up
Life is hanging on a string
The load is getting way too big
If I just keep on grinding
I will gain the traction I need
to win the crown of greed
It’s not enough to see dependencies
I know the game like the back of my hand
I’m willing to revise my strategy
no need for thanks or apologies
Life is hanging on a string
The load is getting way too big
If I just keep on grinding
I will gain the traction I need
to win the crown of greed
I want to see the opportunities
all imitators are doomed to fail
I set the patterns of demeanor
to be a leader, not a passenger
Life is hanging on a string
The load is getting way too big
If I just keep on grinding
I will gain the traction I need
to win the crown of greed
